


Jersey Shore Premium Outlets Maintains Architectural Beauty With Classy, Fun Amenity!

“We tied the outdoor play amenity's theme into the center's architecture, which includes elements from the Jersey Shore,” says Michele Rothstein, Senior Vice President - Marketing, Chelsea Property Group. “We even have a lighthouse to match one of our center’s towers.”
Owned and developed by Chelsea Property Group, a division of Simon Property Group, Jersey Shore Premium Outlets(R) is located in Tinton Falls, NJ, close to the ocean. Therefore, when the company decided to add a new play area, they wanted to maintain the overall look and feel of the center.
“One of our center towers has a lighthouse design and this element has been incorporated into the children's play structure,” explains Rothstein.
Jersey Shore Premium Outlets opened in November 2008 and has over 120 designer and name brand outlet stores. Rothstein says that Chelsea Premium Outlets caters to sophisticated and savvy customers who spend about twice the amount of time shopping the Chelsea portfolio of properties than at other local or regional shopping venues.
“Our shoppers bring their children so having an attractive, whimsical play area is a nice feature we like to offer in our centers,” she adds. “We felt PLAYIME would be able to accomplish this goal for us and we're excited to add this feature to this property.”
The play area opened on October 31, just in time for holiday shoppers.
“Shopping center play areas not only allow parents to offer some additional fun time for their children, but it also shows our commitment to families and our desire for them to feel comfortable stopping by, whether it is for a full day of shopping or for a short shopping break,” says Rothstein. “We have many parents who come during the week and we appreciate being a play date meeting place for moms and their kids.”
